Aftermarket Front Speaker Install

So today I finally got around to starting the install of my Alpine components in the front doors. However, I quickly ran into an issue. I am using 16 guage wiring. Running the component set to a JL amp mounted in the hatch. My question is this : How do I run the wiring from the woofer and the tweeter into the car? I imagine getting it run through that rubber sleeve would be almost impossible. Any help from paople who have accomplished this would be great
