Aftermarket fog/driving lights?

Will do, that's until someone can share the wiring diagram of the 5. I haven't really explored under the dash yet so hopefully soon.
I bought it from this seller on E-bay:

They also have an online store which I've bought from in the past:

Great group of guys and service .
So these are fogs you installed into the plastic fillers that came with your car....

If I recall is not the wiring there already for the fog lights?

2cam16's aux light are actually driving light. Notice there's no shield for the filament.

It's pre-wired for fog lights but 2cam16 needs to know wiring diagram on the stalk for switch.

Someone took our 5 wiring book and waiting for a replacement more info to follow

Thanks and appreciate it. In the meantime, I'll go search around under the dash and see if I can spot those wires.

Just got back from searching under the dash. NADA. Everything is loomed and if it's in there somewhere, I don't feel like pulling 2 or 3 looms down just to look for the wire without knowing where it's at. I was thinking maybe it terminates inside the steering stalk but even that looks like a PITA to remove.
Any ideas anyone ?

Zoom,
Any news on the book ?

I installed the Hella switch over one of the blank switch pods on the driver's left. I cut a hole with a Dremel in one of them and popped the switch in. Now just need to figure out the wiring. Tried to trace it from the lights up into the engine bay but I couldn't keep track of the wires somewhere down there. I'll try again another day. :(

FLASH NEWS

I got the wiring diagram and as I see it, you can do it two ways.

Option 1

Have fog lights be dependent of the daytime running lights/hight beam operation

Option 2

Hot wired using wiring harness but bypass the option 1 relay.

And Thanks Much To Zoom...........

Here it is! Easily done. Just tapped into the stock wiring in the steering pod. The Sport even comes with an OEM relay so no need to buy a relay.

If it wasn't for you, Zoom, I would've just gone with the Hella aftermarket wiring. If you're ever in the SF bay area, I owe you one ! (cheers)

Any pics on wiring and switch?

What do you have for setting?
Sorry, didn't take any pics. Nothing special anyway. Like I said, I just tapped into the wires on the light stalk, tapped into the stock wiring for the lights, relay already in the fusebox.
Setting is stock, on with lows, since I didn't do any mods to it. I don't really care, I have it working and that's all that matters ! :)

Hey budd

Congrats... can you point out in that wiring harness where you tapped in..

maybe send me a private IM and explain. FYI the switch on the NA cars have the "ON" / "OFF" on the signals arm and yes the wires would be terminated in the steering column...which gives me an idea to buy the column switch to be totally OEM. Maybe I can give you a call at work to chat it up budd, maybe you can send me a private IM with your work number.

Have you annoy anyone so far? H3 bulb without shield is blinding.
I actually have it aimed low, low enough where it doesn't hit other cars (or at least I think so. Can't tell as it's only been 2 days since the install, it's the wife's ride, and she hasn't driven in the dark yet) . I doubt it though.

Zoom,
Here's what I tapped into (circled in red). If you open up the steering column, you'll find the oem light stalk on the left . Look for the harness that leads to it, then look for the blue/yellow (+) wire and the black (-) wire. Tap into those with whatever switch you use and that's it !

Hope that was clear enough. If not, PM me and I'll give you my cell #. :)
