Wanted to get some opinions on the aero kit Mazda offers (the door mirror caps, front air dam, rear diffuser, and side sills).
Like it? Don't like it?
Some background, I had a 2007 Mazda 3 4 Door S Touring about 2 years ago and so beyond ready to go back to a Mazda. Planning on buying the 2014 Mazda s GT 4 door (white) by June. With the side sills (from what I can tell from the little I've seen pictures of), it makes it look like my old Mazda since it had something similar. Problem with the whole aero kit package is, would it look stupid without the front air dam? I had problems with my old Mazda and my driveway, since it is a very steep angle, not going up/down it perfectly would cause me to scrape. Ground clearance on the 2007 was only 4.8in and the new one is the same as the Civic I'm currently driving (6.1in). Not having a problem in the Civic unless I go straight up/down so that's not frustrating. What I would be worried about with the front air dam on the new Mazda would obviously be the ground clearance. Hence the question would it look stupid without it (thinking yes).
