AEM ems for Mazda Protege 01+

My insider guess would be around $600+ for an unmodified harness (I know what has gone into it). But knowing Beau, he will probably sell it for less than that simply because he doesn't like to charge a penny more than what he thinks it's worth. I will shutup now and let him decide if he wants to sell it separate...(wiggle)

Everyone must understand that the "modified harness" will be designed for the AEM so that there is no cutting and butt splicing of your original harness. A lot of people may not see the benefit in this, but I would just say to them go check out the countless threads posted in the forums about wiring problems with their Haltechs, Emanages, MPI tuner, etc.

I just shot myself and my hands are still typing... my head.... i cant see where it went ;)

oh thats right... my eyes are in my head.

Having only messed slightly with the harness for my voltage clamp, I will say that I very much appreciate the harness Beau has cooked up.

And now it looks like I need to start saving my money for this...

Have been quietly following this thread from afar, and I gotta say that harness is one of the most beautiful things that I have seen when it comes to Protege EMS systems. Amazing work Beau as usual.

Keep it up.

What the difference?
The harness you see in the picture is just an extention harness. The AEM harness is not adapted to it in that picture. The extention harness is for guys that do not want to cut up there stock harness to adapt the Voltage clamp,MPI,Emange,Haltech, etc. They can splice into the harness we make. The harness pictures I will upload this weekend will have pictures of the AEM harness adapted into it.

Nice, looks like a standard ford ECM connector. Wonder why it took so long for someone to actually do that.
Yup...hence why the ECU has a Ford emblem on it. :)

Arunto is correct, Ford has exclusive rights to the connector so all harnesses made have high-priced parts bought from Ford. The reason why I said I was an "insider" is because I was helping Beau for months to try and find the cheapest solution for the PnP problem. The only other way to get a harness cheaper is to pick up an EECV ecu and a vehicle harness from a junkyard, chop it up, desolder the connector from the ecu, resolder the 104 wires...you all get the picture. Time is the killer in this case.

Cool thanks Beau, love the work you do for our cars
