Advice/Opinion b4 I buy mazda6s hatchback

I just test drove the Mazda6s hatchback automatic yesterday and I absolutely feel in love with it. I'm still not 100% sure on buying the car yet. I want to do some more homework on it and I want to ask you all for your opinion and advice on buying this car. Should I get or not? Are there significant problems with the 2004 models. I have read about some problems with the 2003 and i know they have been fixed in the 2004 but are there any more problems i should be aware before i proceed any farther in purchasing this car? Thanks

I can't stand hatches so I really love the 6 hatch cause it doesn't resemble one
(first) I used to hate hondas till I saw the new Si and now I feel sorry cause it looks like it's been molested...... alot

I didn't think the US version came in a hatchback........

plus it didn't get released until this year.. same with the wagon..

the hatch looks VERY similiar to the sedan.. the trunk appears a bit shorter and has a wiper on the back window... and i'm jealous... the hatch and the wagon are both coming with black chrome headlights... STOCK...

i think with any new model car you're going to run into problems... if you're not willing to deal with it then i don't think you should get it... i couldn't believe the amount of people who weren't prepared to deal with first year car problems... even though the basis of it has been out for a year... there might be quirks that still need to be worked out relating only to the hatch and same goes for the wagon... all of the problems that we've been having on the cars have at least been handled in a timely manner as far as getting them fixed...

also if you really are planning on getting the auto.. make sure you've really tested it and are happy about it... people have been complaining about the throttle lag and the jerkiness when stopping... you may not think it's a big deal now because your mind might be set on the car... but after a while some people just can't get over it... personally i learned to compensate for it... so if you can do that then i think you're good to go (wink) (2thumbs)
