Advice on 22" rims?

i hope your upgrading the brakes

I dont think their is a need. The tire size is going to be just a little bit bigger, 29.8" vs 30.4". Plus the new 22" rims with tires and stock 20' with tire are actually lighter by 2.5 lbs. The new 22" Pirelli Tires do weigh 1lbs more than stock bridgstone but the rims are much lighter, weired since they are 22" vs 20." Must be the fact that it has less metal inside the spokes.

Besides painting the brake calliper black I dont think I will do anything to the brakes untill they are worn out. At that time I will probably go with centric rotors and low dust pads.

This is the family car so I am not going to be racing with it. (drive2)
