Whats the part number for the OEM MS3 deck w/ BOSE vs. the OEM Mp3 deck? I'd like to keep the stock stereo as it fits my needs, but I miss having the Mp3 option that my old Pioneer deck had in my Protege5. If I swap out to the Mp3 version, will I lose my Bose option and steering wheel controls? I've tried to google search this as well as checking MSF for more info, but I haven't found anything.

Using the OEM Mp3/CD deck you won't lose your bose or steering wheel controls. You just need to specifically order the one for the bose system when you order yours. I'm not sure on the p/n, but try contacting bagman1 (Jason) from onlinemazdaparts and he should be able to easily get you the correct p/n.
