2014 Mazda 6 Sport Automatic
What types of mileage are you guys getting? I have had my 14 Mazda 6 for a month (Sport Automatic) and have already put 4,000 miles on the car as I travel a good deal with work. I am getting a consistent 26-27 MPG around town and 35-36 highway averaging 75 MPH.

Is anybody averaging the advertised 38 MPG? You would have to drive an easy 65 MPH to accomplish this IMO.

stuck at 29.2 I don't think there's a way to reset the MPG so it's a constant counter. EPA can kiss my a$$ if they think this car will get 38 MPG... false advertisement. BUT, I didn't buy the car for mpg, I bought for looks and reliability. The mpg is gravy... 29.2 is not bad especially when it takes 87 regular, that's where the savings are...

I have 1700 miles on my touring with automatic, i am averaging near 31 with some babying and thats with the ac on approx 80 percent of the time...i do put the right foot into it now and then. I use the computer average and current fuel status stuff and it does help me obtain better results...and of course, the average fuel stat is a little off when i compare it to the pump and my calculator(but its close). Great mileage and great performance.

I have 3800 miles on my 2014 6. I filled my tank, reset all my mileage readers, and took my first 'mini' road trip with the car.

160 Miles round-trip. From Rochester NY, to Buffalo NY, and back. This is my achievement.

Edit* - I DO NOT have the I-Eloop system either. This is just your standard Mazda 6 GT. If the trip was longer I was pretty confident I could have surpassed 41MPG. I had my cruise set to 70MPH in 65 zones, and 60MPH in 55 zones.

To reset the MPG just hold down the button you use to toggle through the different settings. Easy as that. That way you can see your average for every tank/trip.

You can also set it up so that every time you reset your Trip odometer, the average MPG resets as well. Makes it really easy. After a fill up, just reset the odometer and your average mileage is back to nothing as well. All ready to go.

I've got 9500 miles on my MZ6 and have a lifetime average of 36.5 MPG tracked on Fuelly. I have gotten 39.9 as a best and 32.4 as worst, and I don't drive like a grandma.

4000 miles on my M6 GT automatic, with no i-loop: overall average 27mpg (90% city and a heavy foot)

But I averaged 34mpg on my road trip recently from San Francisco (area) to South Lake Tahoe (MRCC set between 70-80 depending on where I was.) There was also some traffic in some spots.

well I feel like an asshole now... I didn''t know you can reset and even then, my driving must by NASCAR cuz I am no where near your numbers when I do the miles per gallon on refills....

Currently at 26.9mpg, with 2,800 miles on the clock. I drive approx 80-85% city, and I have a heavy foot, and I did not buy the car for the mpg, just a nice bonus.
I just moved from the Netherlands here, and gas over there is over 9$ a gallon so I'm still happy as a clam when I fill up my car here :-)

I am at 2100 miles and I typically average 27 mpg during my 2 weeks between fill ups. Last tank I averaged 29.5. I drive 8 miles to work with a lot of back roads and stops and about 2 miles of highway. On the highway, i usually get 34 mpg or so but eastern NC is hilly which makes a difference. Either way it is way better than my 2010...I got 21 mpg driving to work and 28-29 highway.

i'm at about 4700 miles on the odometer, and get around 28-29 during my normal weekday commute/weekend excursions. longer freeway trips i'll get around 32-33 at 75-80 mph.

Broke my previous record of 40.5MG. Took another drive to Buffalo this past weekend. Got it up to 43.0MPG.

*Disclaimer: This is strictly Highway mileage. 100%.
