This is the worst chain of mechanics in the business. They service men are shady and they rarely provide quotes on the phone.
We made my last visit with my wife's car last Friday. After agreeing on a set of tires costing over $700, they proceeded to insist that the struts of the car were 'leaking' and needed to be replaced. Cost of the struts they were $1800 tax in.
I told them they were out of there mind. I had the under-carrige inpected on a few weeks ealer at a Mazda dealership that showed no issues. I proceeded to have the car inspected at a 2nd Mazda dealership as soon as the tires were put on at AG&R.
Turns out the struts were fine. No springy feeling, no bounce. Working normally and in good condition. In addition, new struts for the Protege were $1000 max, including taxes and labour. So the $1800 was a cash grab.
These guys saw a woman come in their place a decided to gouge as much as they could. I should have never used them and I'm sorry I did. If you value your car, stay clear of these crooks.
