I've actually used ACID for years along with some other Sonic Foundry products........they are quite good. However if you had a legal copy you'd have the instructions too........and the software package comes with a bunch of CD's of music samples to use.
Fruity Loops rocks......I typically use that a lot to write drum beats and then export to wav file and then use in ACID. Very cool stuff.....and it has both external and internal midi controllers so if your CPU is fast enough you can run multiple synched progs....very nice. You can get the "express" version for only $49 and that's all a home user would really ever need:
there is no full complete version for "FREE". If you're going to use the software these companies made why wouldn't you pay for it? They are both quite reasonably priced for the amount of features they have. Are you jobless or something that you can't buy software or movies? I figure it's gotta be something like that which drives someone to take such a casual attitude towards thievery. I'm not wanting to start a flame war....I'm serious about why you would do that? I've never seen an answer before....just threats to stick a gun in my face......I'd really like to see an actual response.
