Not to mention any estimate we'd even make in the US would be pretty much void in the middle east...

And, yea... why are the photos all upside down?

I agree. It is hard to estimate just by looking at the pictures.
Actually, my neck still hurts from looking at them upside down.

Hope no one was hurt in the accident.

sorry guys for this crazy turning of the pictures, don't know why it happened?!
I will bring it to a workshop, nevertheless I want to get a rough estimation because I'll have to wait for my damaged baby for six weeks to get it back, so in the meantime I want to get an overview before I bring it for fixing..

Its going to cost a ton of money for them to flip the car over right side up, thats for sure.....

(lol2)

my goodness sorry again.. actually the axes seam to be unharmed (tire in normal position), like the chassis. even the engine area seams to be fine (couldn't open it - no time for that). even the stearing wheel is in it's normal position. so I guess only metal and the more expensive lights on the driver's side.

I'm sorry guys. This is a serious problem for me so please also give me proper answers. Honesty no need for laughing at me because the pictures were upside down and that i was most probably fiddling with my car's gadgets.
I thought you guys would try to help a desperate guy who wants to get a rough overview of the costs before Mazda's workshop would cause me a heart attack.
And btw. I definitly have to pay everything by myself. If insurance would pay it I wouldn't even waste a minute to think about this issue.
This accident already costed me lots of money so I just want to keep an eye at further expenses.

Thanks for support anyway..

Parts that you will need for sure from a visual standpoint:

Bumper
Absorber
Reinforcement
Brackets
Misc. harware
Headlamps
Hood
Hood hinges
Hood latch
Grille
Fenders
Fender liners
Radiator Support
Airbags (both)
SRS unit (brain)
Seat belts
Buckles

Thx a lot guys, that's what I wanted to hear. If it's really $20.000 I can scrap it. F*ck..
And thanks for telling me the names of the parts in english. Will also help me a lot!

Sorry No way to know what internal damage was done, let alone know the cost in a foreign country. Shouldn't have been fiddling with the gadgets while driving, I guess.

Based on past experience, here it would probably be totaled by the insurance company.

I agree - Air bags blown usually means it would have been totaled here (and I would personally prefer it that way). Hard to get a vehicle to perform like new after something like that, even when done by the best mechanics / body shops.

Because I have no tolerance for assholes who endanger other's lives just so they can play with their gadgets. I was simply using the photos to illustrate a point.

I'm guessing then, that you're one of them. Nav, phone, text, etc.

Actually no.. I own a RX7 and a ranger neither of which have navi... Also since they are both 5 speeds, I focus on actually enjoying the drive. Truly I cant stand when ppl text/talk/use navi/eat/read books/put on makeup or any other stupid thing I see the majority of people doing while driving.

To the OP, Sorry for crapping in your thread. As others have stated this would most likely be a total loss in the US. One question is why won't your insurance cover it?

**BUMP**

Since this thread has been hi-jacked..I have a suggestion...

We should have the mods set-up another section here in additon to all the categories, it should be called:

"The Flame Zone"
Enter at your own risk!
