Does anybody know exactly what is involved in getting to the wastegate actuator? I started to swap mine out last night and realized that it was going to be a lot more involved than I originally thought.
I got the intercooler off with no trouble, took off the top heatshield for the exhaust manifold, then ran into a snag. The shield on the back of the turbo, does anybody know how many bolts hold it on? I could feel three. If I get that off, is there anything else in the way? I suppose that what I really need is an exploded diagram of that assembly. If anybody has any helpful suggestions before I tackle this again, or maybe the diagram in question, I would be very grateful for the help.
