AC issue

well it feels like summer in Florida, and my 2004 Mazda 3 2.3 hatchback, seems like is can't handle the heat...I turn on my ac in the day and it blows cool air, but not cold enough cause it's still burning in the car..But at night when its cooler outside it will blow a little bit colder air..by the way I checked my a/c pressure thought i needed some r-134a, buts it's fine.. .this is my first mazda 3, just curious are these cars known for not having great ac..anyways let me know what you think or any solutions
thanks for help.

Ac

I have had an 05' and an 08' 5dr HB and they both have weak A/C. I took the 05' in shortly after I got it and the Tech said it just was'nt hot enughf for the A/C to really get going(Live in Oregon). Traded it in for the 08' a few years later and it was just as bad.

wow that sux..i wonder if there is anyway to make it better..lol..cause its burning in florida right now and i can't stand driving during the day..

The Mazda 3 is a fun to drive eco box. Lets all try to remember that. I have a 2007 Galaxy grey mica and I live in Destin, FL and my AC is fine. I keep my sunroof covered I have tint and I put sun blockers in my front windows when I know I'll be out of my car for awhile.

Tilting the sunroof and opening the windows a little helps keep the air moving and keeps the car cooler.

Geez I like to think my M3 is more than one of those Scion Boxes. My Sport-trac's AC will freeze you out of the truck, Love it. I noticed that will driving up I-5 the other day it took about 30 min in 95 deg temp to finally get to a point where I could turn the fan down to 3 from 4.(flash)
