absent resonator vs. warranty

so the absence of my resonator (air box resonator) will at some point be inevitably detected by my friendly mazda mechanic...
will this create a warranty issue?
i've gotta think no on this one but ya never know....

not really, i have an 03 protege and still have the warrenty. When i put my intake on i had a new transmission put on under warrenty so from that you can def say no. Also my suspension is not stock anymore and just had 2 new drive axles put in under warrenty. Just watch what dealers you goto because some can just be real big dicks about your car.

nah.. pull the resonator if you so wish, it will not void the warrant.. ive find this out a few times already. that was the first mod i did to the car since it was easy. when i blew up the motor nothing was said since it wasnt on there at that time.. and i know they saw that it was missing because they pulled the entire motor out. so in answer to your question, it wont, err.. should not void the warranty, unless your dealer is a real big prick..
