ABS/Handbrake/Traction Control Lights on

Hello all,

Whilst on my way to work the other day the ABS, Traction control (sliding car type symbol) and handbrake lights came on. No change in the way the car drove. Got to work, turned it off, and when i drove home they had gone.

Was it spurious or is it indicitave of a larger problem?

Was this drive the first one after disconnecting the battery, or jumping the car? If so, this is normal, and goes away after one or two drive cycles. If not, take it to Autozone and have them run the codes, which they will do for free. Write down the results and post them here or Google them. You're answer should be in there somewhere.

Thanks mate. Now i've just got to find the UK equivalent of Autozone!

Will let you know when i've got some fault codes.
