About to purchase a 3 :)

Well, we've looked around and nothing can beat the 3 especially with the employee discount. I wanted to run the numbers by you guys and let me know if they seem reasonable. This would be for a 3s coupe with Moonroof, ABS, sport package, and 4spd at $19,765.

Price of car: $18,500
Down payment: $3,000
Tax pct: 7%
Interest: 4.9%
Length: 60 months
Payments: $302.15


I know that the purchase price can vary a little with title and plates, but as I recall that is only $50 or so. Just wanted someone else to look over it before I look like an asshole at the dealership

What employee discount you talking about? Is it the X or S plan? If it is, then there is no negotiating and the price for those plans are on the dealer invoice. I was able to purchase my car using the S-plan and my car cost $8 below invoice.

It's the S-plan so I was figuring that a car costing $19,800 would probably be $18,500 with the discount. I can't remember how much I saved on my Mazdaspeed, but it was around $2000. I know the price is fixed, but I was just wondering if the monthly payment sounded correct.
