Wow, I haven't read the forums in a couple days and I was wondering why the MSP section seemed so quiet. I took a trip over to the performance forum, what a waste of time. I'd have to agree with all of the others who say that moving MSP questions out of the MSP forum and into the other forums is silly. So someone asks about a BOV and their thread is moved to performance, why? Because there's a handful of P5 or non-MSP protege owners out there who have turbos? Since the majority of protege turbo owners are MSP owners, the info should be in the MSP forum and someone who has taken the time and effort to put a turbo on their P5 should know that the MSP forum is good place to look for turbo info.
Nobody has even mentioned that now the site is also going to be flooded with Mazda 3 owners, so it's going to be great trying to find MSP relevant information in the peformance forum when there's pages of discussions about a totally DIFFERENT engine. Same goes for the suspension forums too, and audio/electronics for that matter. Hell, pretty much everything will be messed up because the 3 is a totally new car.
If someone owns or is consdering purchasing an MSP and has a question about it, it should go in the MSP forum. Then there's one place to go for all of your info. This isn't a really high volume forum, and I've never noticed it taking too long to get through all the new posts when I've been gone for a couple of days.
I might not have a lot of posts, and I haven't been here long, but having an MSP specific forum that was full of all kinds of different information was what brought me here in the first place when I was originally looking into the car. Now there's going to be hardly anything left worth reading. Or the whole thing could just wear off in a couple weeks and it will all be back to normal.
