hi guys! I have a 1.5 Eibach pro-kit springs and going to install it this thursday..... could u guys give me some suggestion or information?

Like how many bumpstopper I have to cut if I keep my stock shocks?

Is the installing work difficult? How long does it take?

How do u take off the rear shocks? Do I have to take off all the plastic at the back trunk for unscrew the rear shocks?

Anything that also important I want to know too

Thanks all
Mark

me and a friend did the install using only hand tools in his basment. took us awhile to do the first one but after that we went really fast. probally under 3 hours and we were resting some seeing as it was hot as hell here in july. i did not cut bump stops because i am not lowering it any further than the eibach. i think you only need to cut if you are doing coilovers and plan on putting it in the weeds. yes, you do have to take the plastic out to get to the rear shock tower. it isn't that bad. you just pull out all the round retainer plugs and make sure to put them somewhere like a bowl while you are working. also, there really is no need for a spring compressor since our cars arefairly lower to begin with. there is not alot of compression in the springs. the front has alittle but the back is almost none at all. to put the eibachs in i just pressed them down with my hands and my friend turned the nut a few turns to hold them in. it is easier if you wait until you put the shock assembly back in the car to tighten the nut on the top of the strut. just take your time and get some help if you can. buy a pair for mechanics gloves or you will bust the hell out of you knuckles. good luck. you are going to love it when you get it done.
