Hey guys,I got my Ingen intake yesterday but I couldn't install it b/c of all the rain that's goin' on and the lack of room in my garage.I was just wondering how hard is it to install it??How long should it take??Is it true that the front bumper needs to be removed??(confused)

not that i know of the front bumper needs removed, but you do need to go under the car and take of part of the wheel well to put on the filter thats about it.

What do you mean "take off"??As in cut??

No no, just pull back a little bit so you can fit the filter into the space behind the wheel well. Then you can put it on the end of the pipe, and clampt it down.

I installed my injen during a lunch break. The plastic wheel well cover will be pulled back. The clips just pop out as you turn them with a screwdriver.

I just went through the same thing today installing my ebay one. It's really easy to install but trying to stabalize the coolant bottle is a b****. You really don't need to take off the bumper. But for me I did take off the bumper so I can install rubber door molding around the hole where the piping goes through, and added rubber weather strips to the metal area where the filter is. Basically I did that so I wouldn't have any metal to metal contact. Which I'm glad because I have no rattling sounds. But I'm like a pro on removing my bumper, I can do it in less than 5 minutes.

i meant there was a piece you can take off with those screws, it just pops off, like what clay said...no need to cut anything :D

how is the coolant bottle attached now? Care to upload a few bigger pictures for me please? thanks in advance.

The coolant bottle has been relocated to rest on top of the radiator(since the stock air intake is gone) and stays on by bolts and a metal plate.I would post bigger pics, but it would take up the entire window.

Yeah,I guess they don't come in the blue and the red anymore. It's only black and the polished.

The sticker on the piping looks different. I have a blue one. It has red letters, but the sticker is positioned so that if you're standing in front of the car looking into the motor, "Ingen" is written upside down. I thought it was odd and wanted to see other pics to compare, but your sticker is different :(
