A Super Secret Mystery Switch??

i flicked the switch on and off with the car on and off, the engine on and off, while driving, etc. but it never seemed to do anything. I checked for drilled holes per the neon underbody theory but found none. I finally took a look behind and found what I'm 90% sure the switch goes to: a couple of severed wires.

well maybe the mystery will never be solved...but on the bright side I guess I'm one step closer to having Fat Chick Ejector installed. I hear the newest model features a pedestrian targeting HUD display. No fun in aimlessly releasing perfectly good ammo, I always say.

if it's leading to severed wires, then i guess it doesn't do anything.

the mystery now is what did it do before? it could be anything. most likely it was for some kind of light.

Well, since it's an on/off toggle, I'm going to guess it's not a one time thing such as launching your car into the air, or self-destruct. I'd bet it's the warp speed button, as some people have suggested, or the hyperspace switch, if you've ever seen star wars and such. Or maybe there's a back massager built into the chair, but that would be boring.

Just reconnect the wires and you never know what kind of supercar you'll have. :D

its like in taxi where it puts wheels bodykit and performance stuff on your car. or it changes it into a robot and it is controlled like a mech warrior.

LUDICROUS SPEED GO!!!

Haha an enjoyable thread.

But, maybe it was used for subs? I have a switch in the exact same spot for my amp/subs.

that's a good idea... **runs off to the auto parts store**

hmm...i rigged a very similar looking switch in that same place to enable/disable my remote starter...

well, seems to me thats the most logical and popular spot to put a swith...you know, in the empty switch spot...lol.

I personally think it's like in back to the future, and it sends you into time travel mode...maybe you enter the date on the HVAC controls and stereo knobs....

Listen people, I don't want to sound like a know-it-all, but I know a Fat Chick Ejector when I see one! You see, my Great Uncle Dr. Felix Fattyboombatty, was the inventor of the Fat Chick Ejector back in the late 1940's when hot rodding was becoming very popular in Southern California. The idea for the invention came about while he was cruising the local drive-in hamburger joints and the only tail he could pick up was "a bit more" than he cared for. He rigged one up in his car and found that it worked great! Well, it wasn't too long before the invention caught on and everyone wanted one of these in their ride. Sadly, he applied for patents, but was unsucessful and he went broke trying to market the idea to the Big 3 US auto makers at the time. Recently Uncle Felix passed away and I aquired all the original drawings, plans and patent applications for the Ejector. I would be happy to scan and post them if anyone is interested. (braindead

P.S. Now you know where the term "Fatty Boom Batty" originated. (wow)

Hey, I'm just try to keep dear Uncle Felix's honor alive ...

Maybe the previous owner mounted it just before selling the car to **** with the new owner's head??!!

Is that a P5? whats with the door below the ac controls? And it looks so different. I know the automatics dont have a different radio plate, what gives?
