How come?
Wasn't what I expected. Called Sam and asked him if I should notice a difference between it being on the MSM and LS and he said "It should be louder." I don't hear it being louder, if anything it's more quiet. I don't mind it too much because when it was on the LS I would get annoyed with how loud it was. I was just expecting a very LOOOOOOOUD exhaust, didn't happen that way.

the turbo probably silenced the exhaust sound quite a bit...

Yes, the turbines in a turbo act like a mini muffler and hush a lot of the exhaust noise. There are systems out there directly marketed for turbos only because on an N/A car it would be too loud. If your system wasn't designed for a turbo, you might actually lose powar. You want as little restriction as possible to help spool up. N/A cars need some restriction to help with exhaust scavanging. Plus have extra 'muffling' capabilities that could rob yout turbo car of powar..

apparently so yea lol, but i thought you liked this less noisy exhaust sound?
well, i do but i don't. try being prepared for something stoopid loud and then you get in it you hear a nice rumble, you get somewhat excited, you punch the gas and it sounds stock. you kinda think to yourself "..what the eph just happened, did he put everything on right? what's going on here.."

lets put it this way. you REALLY like icecream and haven't eaten it in a while. some chick calls you to ask you out for some icecream. you get all happy and amped then when you eat the icecream it's all melted.

something like that. i guess.

it's possible some misreading could have been done here. when i got the exhaust for the LS i remember asking if it was capable of running with turbo, i was told that it goes both ways. we'll see.
