a pillar guages

ok so ive got the side curtain air bags and theres a lil airbag stamp on the apillar (at least i think thats what its called), the place where u put those guages. well are the air bags gonna be affected if i ever decide to put those guages there? i know on the rear pillars the air bag is right there, i had to take that pieece off to get the back deck out so i could rattle proof it for my subs. so back to the point, does anyone know how the side air bags deploy, or if the guages would be in the way? any info would be appreciated. that pic is the one in the rear deck. you can probably 'edit' your post.. there should be an edit button on the right
