A little lesson for the bench racers.

You could always use a Mickey Thompson or M&H ET slick. Short side wall which will not shatter a tranny or drive shafts, but will offer better results than a drag radial with it's true drag slick compound and tread (or non existent tread). I used a set on my prelude and got it down to 1.990 60 ft times.

I'll also sacrifice a clutch disc over a tranny any day. I'll slip the clutch out of the whole to prevent that gawdawful wheel hop. I have a feeling it will still hop even with the new AWR mounts.

QUICKEST ET wins on the drag strip. FASTEST MPH wins on the street. Especially if you're racing from a roll, you want to be faster.
