Sleeper, why are you such a post *****..do you need more attention? Do you really feel the need to post a thesis on every single thread that you cut and paste from your last Google search? I think you need to find a hobby or something and stop using this forum to disperse your crap and anti-Americanism. All you do is point out negative aspects of government and foreign policy, etc etc etc..Nothing in the world is perfect...people and institutions make mistakes but try to do more good than bad for their people. Don't you understand that all actions have repercussions and secondary effects. You talk as if running a country and protecting its people is something that is so easy and effortless...most governments are established to serve its people.. of course a country's interests are to better the situation for its own citizens. As if you are of such a high moral character, that you don't take advantage and reap the benefits of the actions of your government..I'm sure you have advantages and a better quality of life, etc.. at the loss of others or other countries... You talk of the American government as if its just a few people..the government is made up of Americans that were voted into office by Americans...All your propaganda and leftist, anti-Americanism rhetoric is crap. Why don't you worry about your own country's issues, and stop pretending like you are the end all be all voice of knowledge...you are not..you are a student with too much time on your hands that is quick to criticize and complain, but slow to offer any solutions or rational arguments...Basically you are right and everyone else is wrong...Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better..

BUT as i argued before, how good can a person be by not practicing what they preach? people argue by even saying well it's just how it is. my point is, that IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE, as i would hope you would agree with this as well or at LEAST concede that you can improve yourself by doing less wrong, right? RIGHT. what is there to argue here? *shrugs* now i hear the "you're an idealist" argument coming along.. wow, what a surprise, people that don't want status quo and not wanting to improve themselves. I SERIOUSLY hope that people do continue to want to constantly improve themselves as a person; it's a struggle at times, more so than others, but it's a battle that must be fought.

Why was it such a good idea to go to war aginast a country (Serbia) that has done and will NEVER do anything agianst the USA but it is SOOOOO wrong to go to war aginast a country that given a chance WILL attack the US. And if you think that given a chance that Saddam wouldn't attack the USA then you sir are crazy.

Well i have and it SUCKS that is why i came to USA and i'm a proud to say i live here. So i know how the Iraqi people feel and i can tell you they are happy to see the USA and GB.

any country good or bad dislikes it when being dictated to by another country or body, that's just simple logic. and bad boy iraq is simply being angered and frustrated by actions against them. Not to mention be the one to realize the US was "friends" with them for a period b/c it was convenient all awhile ignoring his horrible actions. Only then for the US to turn around when again it was convenient and bring to light those very actions. i dont' think it's just me, but tell me if i'm wrong, this just doesn't sound very right to me
as for US bombing serbia, it was under NATO. The purpose of that was to prevent the conflict from spreading to neighboring countries in the region. the circumstances make this iraq invasion quite a different issue, i'm sorry if you dont' see that.

On one hand you show objection to the NATO bombing of Serbia, and on the other you say you suffered discrimination and horror living under a Murder control giving me the idea that you are Albanian. and whenever we look to the usa we see a government that represents everything we fear so much: a latent and growing disposition for fear, hate,violence and deception and it seems to us that more and more of the US citizens are at the mercy of these lies due to the allgrowing lack of education and the complexity of information they are swamped with.
nonetheless we cannot believe that even one reasonable person in the US could swollow the government's s*** so willingly.
we simply won't keep still because a nation of old friends starts to transform into dull, paranoid and domineering beast.

i have my grievences with some polical decisions on both sides of the scale
but for the most part i have to believe in my heart that there are good people in our government that try to make a difference by doing the right thing when they can.
i dont agree with every decision .
but what i cant understand is why the hate for each other. whether its the US or FRANCE or whoever!
no matter what you believe we are all here just one time together and we should try to make it a good ride. anyway im babbling, what im trying to say is that i dont think anyone wants war or to see others die but like i said in my heart i HAVE to believe there is a reason for it
