got out of work around 1am (hate retail during christmas) only to find this lovely gift....

luckily someone left me a note with the license plate number of the woman who hit my car, not once, but twice and drove away. needless to say i'm rather pissed.

damn that suxs did any paint get taken off. if you call the cops and the car with that license plate has some of your paint on it. it should be easy to get her to pay, but if there is no paint and you dont know who left the note as a witness. you might be out of luck....sux
sorry to hear it man

i talked to the cops today they are investigating it. i did have a license plate number and a witness so i should be ok.

sucks man, hate to see that happen, though as chimsp said looks like it would be an easy fix...

easy fix?????

sure, replace the door skin and repaint it i guess...

if the cops can't track that down and/or the ins. co. can't do anything he's out the deductable at least, and just the skin + repaint will probably be under $500

I doubt that. About a year ago I had to get some body work done. It involved the front and rear passenger doors and the rear fender. They didnt have to replace anything on the fender, just repaint it. The whole repair was over $1300

well the plate number was valid and the cop got an address. so i just have to wait for a call back from the police to see whats going on.
