a couple of questions...

I just hit 15000 miles on my speed and I had a few questions about maintenace stuff. First off, when should I be looking to change brake pads and rotors? Braking still feels fine, but it would be good to know. Also when is a good time to change gear oil/tranny fluid and all that stuff? Ive read several posts how bebeficial it is. any suggestions would be great!

gear oil change once at 500~1000 to get rid of the major wear particles, then whenever the additives breakdown. mazda calls for 30K on this car lottsa people like the shift feel after a change to redline, or royal purple. just matchup the viscosity fairly close
Pads? I hav 47K, just got the 45K service done and have a "green" note next to brakes, and I would agree, tons of pad left.

dunno how the friggin things make this much dust with no loss of material

yea i put on the awr swaybar endlinks yesterday and took a look at my pads and they are still thick as hell. thanks for the advice, i think ill look into some gear oil then!
