Hi all

I have a CX-9 2008 and its the best car i had until I got this problem which is confusing and would like to hear an expire suggestions on what might be the problem and to solve it.

I Kuwait where the weather reach 50C, The A/C on the left side (driver side) hot uncool air and of the right passenger seat The A/C blows cool air like nothing wrong.

I went to the mechanic and he said there is a leak in the compressor so I changes the compressor and filled it with A/C gas and worked for 6 or 7 days and then it when back hot air of the driver side.

The question is that got me confused if why the hot air only on the driver side and not on the passenger side?
Is it the dash A/C temperature control issue and if so why I was cold for sometime after we changed the compressor and filled it with A/C gas?

I hope to know the problem before i go and send money again and the compressor might not me the problem.

Any thoughts ?

Thanks

If you are getting cold air on one side it's most likely the blend door or flaps in the dashboard. They control the air mix depending on the temperature you have selected. Does your car have the automatic climate control? If so try to run it on manual and see if you can get cold air on the drivers side as that may narrow it down to a sensor.

Last year, i had a little leak in the AC LINE (TD116146XA) with the same symptoms.
Another man from russian forum had a little leak in evaporator.
To check the system, you need to fill it with gas and UF oil. UF lamp will show you where is a leaking. If evaporator is leaking, you will see uf oil under the car (around draining hole).
Sorry for my english...
