A/C Recharge Kit (worked for me!)

Yes I turn on the car left it on for 3 min and did the reading, idk what ambient temperture means, I am guessing outside temperature, it was about 90 degrees, with psi a little over 45psi, I am thinking I need to take some pressure out to like 25 psi. any ideas?

bump- I have a RedTek AC Recharge Kit. It says in the instructions that you must take it to a shop to evacuate the existing refrigerant before refilling it. Is this absolutely necessary? I understand that maybe mixing the two types of refrigerant isn't as good as just using the one type, but has anyone had problems with just topping up the system (without removing the old stuff)?
