9815 Parametric EQ

Hi

Another I personalize question :)

I know that the 9815 has a couple of stored EQ settings like "Flat", "Pop" and "Rock", that I know how to use those ones just like on Windows Media Player or Winamp.

What I need a little help with is to understand what do I do with the EQ on I-Personalize, that is there for me to create my own EQ settings?

I'm guessing that people have to know how to make music to learn how to created your own EQ settings? is this as complicated as it looks?

What is this EQ on I-personalize for?

thanks

Alex :)

The preset EQs are just stupid curves and have no use other then to manipulate the sound. If you like them fine otherwise don't use them. The 5 channel parametric EQ is to cut or boost a frequency that may be being absorbed so you may wish to boost it or is resinating something and you may want to cut it. A very good ear can determine where to use it otherwise a 1/3 octive anaylzer is desirable. For example if your doors are buzzing becuase the speakers play some sound that makes the door panel rattle just right to be anoying then you can turn down a band of sound to stop it from rattling.
