95blkprobe's 02 p5 build

be sure to mock up with transmission in place. My 4" compressor inlet hit the banjo for the clutch line. Never saw it coming. Your turbo is massive!!! I hope all goes well. This is going to nucking futz!

i will mock up the tranny tonight. well im welding a 90* -10 fitting onto the front of the coolant housing pointing towards the block, from there I will run a -10 line all the way around the block to the heater hose. I am also welding my diff tonight as well as my prv return into the pan. will have a pic update later after work.

If you're going with an external wastegate, why not switch to a 4 bolt turbine housing? Would give you a LOT more room for the coolant lines.

I don't think they make a 4 bolt housing for the holsets. I have a stainless flange that im just welding a vband to. The coolant line isn't in the way of the downpipe area, just the housing itself

well heres what I did today.

It barely fits but will work. I also mocked up the tranny and it looks like everything is going to clear. I started to install my awr pan and I couldnt get some of the bolts started, and once I did they would tighten up then break free like i broke the bolt, but the whole bolt would just slide right out. I became pissed off and just called it a night

i know how that feels, happens to me alot when im workin on my car lol
that solution for the coolant line looks pretty good though

you gonna have the manifold recoated or just run it as is?

Charles, sorry for not responding to your text. Busy with the new tanks selling like hot cakes lol. You might post the picture here and see what these guys think. I couldnt tell from the small phone pic.

its cool brian, i actually have a couple questions for you guys. first things first, the motor is in the car and most of the wiring is done. I just dont know what they few plugs go to. I am blocking off the egr so whichever plug that is, im not plugging it in. also I am using a 626 manifold off a 99. i know these are different than the ones that we have on the protege, but i am using it since i have a reworked fuel rail that bolts onto. the problem is that i dont know what vacuum lines go where and what i honestly need to hook up, any help would be highly appreciated. thanks

also, does this look like a lsd to you?

Second picture for sure is the o2 sensor wire goes either into your stock header or j pipe. hook that up. and the top one was something that hooks onto the regular intake manifold somewhere near the TB. More closers would help a lot with whatever else you may need. I have to look at my setup to be sure.

that top plug hooks up to the charcoal canistor, pretty sure, two long ass lines, one from the canistor, the other to the intake manifold

finished all the vacuum lines for the 626 mani, blocked and plugged the egr, finished the doc b remote oil system. just some little thing to be done till initial start up
