91 octance 300-335miles on tank

Now this question goes out to OFFSET how the hell you managed to squeeze in there 362 miles on a single tank and add 18.5 of gas? You did remember to reset the trip computer when you filled up right? Just checking!! cant see this car getting that when no one else has reported anything close to that

I took a 200 mile road trip. Filled up before heading out. Was able to keep the speed at 70-75 for most of the trip. A few pockets of traffic dropped me down into the 50's for a while.

I filled up at my destination, even though it was only at half a tank (yes 200 miles on HALF a tank). I don't remember the exact amount of fuel, but I do remember I calculated 23.6 MPG.

23.6 * 18 = 425 so 362 doesn't seem too unreasonable for me.

These engines are very sensitive to reformulated gas. If you have the gas with 10% ethanol your MPG will suffer noticeably.

i use shell v-power 93 octane only. with a mixed 80/20 highway city- i just fill up and the mpg was 21.88.Used lots of a/c as well because it was hot and the windows were just tinted so i had to use the a/c

Mpg

I regularly get 230 - 245 per tank.....and I recently got 282 with mixed city/hwy and I made a consistent effort to keep the rpm under 4k. If I drive her hard, I will only get 190 - 210 in all city driving.

If you want to drive conservatively, you need to keep the RPMs below 2500. That alone will bring your MPGs up quite a bit. Anything above that and you are hurting your wallet big time.

I consistently get 20-21 MPGs all "light" city driving, with the occasional WOT run....I don't want the car to forget that it is indeed a hi-po machine and not a grocery getter.

But to start things off I am driving a 07 cx-7 AWD with 27k miles I drive for a living so I am on city/highway traffic 8hrs a day.

on a full tank of 91 Sunnoco gas I am getting between 300-335miles

Now prior to getting these results I was driving my car in manual mode thinking I would increase my mpg False when driving in manual your rpms are not running in constant speed so your rpms would fluctuate on my end it was between 3k to 5k depending on traffic and speed increase.

Now that I drive in auto my rpms run between 2.5k and 3.5k rpm
my mpg has gone from 240miles on a tank to 300-335miles I do not drive aggressively but I am not driving like grandma either.

some people would say put in 93 is a few cents higher and its better gas I am living proof that putting 93 will get you maybe a bit higher mpg I do mean a bit and almost non noticeable. So stick with 91 and save the few cents. I have my tires at set at 38psi

I believe the reason people are getting bad gas is because of the way they drive, in and out of lanes, slowing and speeding up come on now I dont have to tell you your gas result will show.

1st picture shows 117miles on 1 quater tank and the last is when I got gas because the light just came on

* This time i got 301 because I was carrying some weight in the car work tools and supplies I needed that remained in the car most of the time.

I have (wifes car now) an 07 CX7. I drove it the first year and got horrible gas mileage. I also stopped running high octane when the 08's posted no need. My wife however has been driving it for the past year and is getting WAY better MPG than I ever did. I will get in the car and the trip will be over 300 everytime on that tank (I keep track of mileage on every tank). She grandma foots it around with the kid. I cant complain.

The tank itself holds 18.2. If you fill it till the pump clicks off you are filling that tube that runs to the tank as well.
