808P5s Build Thread

notice any difference with this upgrade?
Its a so so difference...lol not big.

wow, it been awhile i went SCCA solo2. How did you like it? it way different set up from before back at HRP. I might get back into it if i have free time. FSP class is hard with having the mini coopers. how did you set up your car(tire pressure, shock damping,etc..)

Mini coopers are in a different class now. lol I had a great time. As for my settings my tire pressure was at 38psi, dampeners were set to the full setting (all the right..lol) Right now besides maybe getting some camber I think I just need some seat time. lol Everything was working out that day. I didnt really have any problems with the car. Just my driving lol I totaly missed the last corner on my first run. haha. yea man you should come out. Bring the 86 lol They had some pretty sick cars out there that day.

More or less...i really didnt feel a difference...now if you add the rear one thats a different story...The rear one i think is a must.

It's a domestic type for American cars. Got it on eBay $20.

I used a house door L bracket and some self taping screws. lol

And currently redoing the interior panels with the same material as the shift boot. Still have to finish the front two.

What did you use w/ the shift boot to get the head area wide?

I have a TWM ss boot but it doesn't have anything under the knob so the knob looks all fat and the boot just drapes down, like someone with a big head and little body. I don't like it :(

Right now I have the stock shifter. The I used the stock boot ring and glued the material on to that. Then the stock shifter has something that holds it up. Do you have a stock shifter?

Zip tie maybe? Or could you use a jam nut or a washer at the bottom of the thread to hold it up?

Washer should do the trick, the boot doesn't drop down, its just really skinny up top. yuck.

Ill be upgrading the shifter soon. So ill have to make another boot. Well see how that goes. lol

Got a GT Spec lower tie bar, GT Spec links to finish my trunk cage just ordered. I also finished up the interior. (adding new material to the doors.) I also might do the A pillars. not sure yet though.

Also got a MSP shifter on the way. 35 bucks shipped!
