Hey everyone! I have had a lot of people ask me about the 8" sub molded in the center console, listed in my sig. I was waiting until i finished it to show everyone, but i figured I show you what I have so far. Right now I am in the process of primer and sanding. Everytime I primer, it brings out another imperfection so back to sanding I go, lol. Anyway... Project really hasnt been hard, just time consuming. Let me know what you guys think!

yea, the sub is inclosed.... believe it or not was able to build the frame out of 3/4" mdf board. Im trying to find pics of the earler process of the build, but cant find them....

thats got to be one of the most original ideas i have seen on here. i really like it! (2thumbs)

only two probs i see:

1) is there really enough air space in there???

2) no more buttseks in the backseat...

1) yea, the polk sub doesnt require a box of much volume (.35 cu. ft.) I already hooked it up just see what it sounds like and it sounded really good, Alot better than I had origanilly thought it would.

2) I always keep a blanket in the trunk just in case.... ;)

imo its kinda ugly, but a very cool and original idea none-the-less. just dont put any change in the center console=). my changes rattles like hell and my subs are in the trunk=).
