It's been documented that that it stood for a Roman emperor in the disciple Paul's time. Just thought I'd share.

Actually some people also say that the number 999 is actually the number related to the devil because of the way the eye inverts everything it sees.

The brain can eventually adjust to an upside down world though. There was some psych experimnet where a dude spent a month wearing some goggles that turned everything upside down. After a week or so he was totally used to it. Then when they removed the goggles it took his brain a while to flip the image again. Weird s***.
