626 shuts off in hot weather at idle

2000 626 4 cylinder. 60,000 miles Runs fine until weather is extremely hot/running air conditioning and in traffic. (no problem on open road) When placed in park it runs rough and then shuts down (will turn over). Let sit for 1/2 hour with the hood up and it then starts up and runs ok. no codes and garage has been able to duplicate the problem and knows that there is no fuel pressure when this happens. However they have not been able to find the issue.
Your experience and help would be greatly appreciated

What relay are you refering to?

The relay(s) to the cooling fans.Are the cooling fans kicking on as usual? Has the coolant boiled out and or has the car been overheated at any point recently?If the cooling fans are coming on when the temperature gauge is near the middle and you coolant level ( both in the radiator and the full mark on the overflow/reservoir ) is correct and full post back and can go from there.
