As most of you know, the MSP has bigger brakes than the other Proteges, but MSP brakes are rare and rather expensive so it's not a viable upgrade for most of us. However, the 00-02 626 uses the same size rotor as the MSP with almost the same brake pad surface area, which makes this a cheap OEM upgrade for non-MSP owners. I was gonna do this to my MP3 but changed my mind so my loss is your gain.

Calipers are in GREAT condition!! They were pulled off a 2002 V6 626 w/ 85K miles on it, and I also have the brackets that are needed to mount them up to a Protege. Unlike the MZ6 rear brake calipers, the 626 calipers are compatible with the Protege E-brake so it's a direct swap. I also have a set of Centric PositQuiet ceramic brake pads to go along with the calipers, they come shimmed and include all the additional hardware needed for a proper install. All you need are rear discs from a 626, MSP, or MZ6.. they're all the same.

1. 02 626 rear calipers w/ brackets - $45 each
2. Centric PosiQuiet ceramic brake pads - $20

3. All together - $100 + shipping
Would to prefer to sell as whole package.

1. 02 626 rear calipers w/ brackets - came off a junked 626 w/ 85K miles. I've removed the stock pads that can be seen here and cleaned the calipers with brake cleaner. Pistons move smooth as butter!
