6 Disc CD/Mp3 Player - Issues

Morning,

Just picked up a 2007 Mazda 3s Touring with the 6 Disc in Dash CD Changer, which will [according to the Manual] play mp3 CDs.

I've created Mp3 cd's with Nero, I-Tunes, Windows Media Player/etc. As soon as I pop them in the deck it recognizes the CD but then just plays the CD as if it's one long track and there is no sound.

Is there a trick to making the CD or is the manual just flat wrong? It claims if you have the 6 disc changer you have mp3 capability.

there is a 6cd changer system... and then there is an OPTIONAL 6cd/mp3 system... the manual isnt wrong, just doesnt apply to the one you have.

Blah, maybe I need to reread the manual. It certainly seemed to indicate that if you had the 6 disc changer, you had the mp3 player as well, not that it was an option.

Thanks for the input, looks like I'm off to buy an iPod...
