Hello everyone, I've been a long time member here. First joining back in '02 when I got my Laser Blue Protege5. Since then I've gone full circle and come back to Mazda.
-I traded the Protege for an 05 Subaru Impreza WRX STi
- Got rid of the STi when I got a mortgage and traded for a *cough* Honda Element EX and Toyota Matrix.
- Sold the Element to a private buyer, and bought a Honda S2000.
- Just yesterday I traded my Toyota Matrix in for a 2008 True Red MS3!
So now I have my hot weather recreation car (S2000) and my semi-economical, relatively practical, pretty quick MS3.
I was seriously considering going with the new hatch-based STi but for about the same price I'm driving both a (used) Honda S2000 annnnd a (new) MazdaSpeed3. I think they are ridiculous for charging 3k more for the base which doesn't even included STANDARD BBS rims like it did before. That's a 2k option. After adding the BBS it's 5k more than the previous STi, and offers LESS performance. Alas, that's another thread in itself (probably better suited for NASOIC).
Anyway, expect to see a lot more of me, and yes I have to update my signature, and heck.... my profile pic too I'm an old man now.
