5-door hatch brake light question

If a Mazda6 S 5-Door hatch is ordered from the factory with the included spoiler, will the brake light be in the spoiler or hatch? I'm hoping it will be in the spoiler.

Thats a good question..I saw the chmsl (3rd brake light) in the trunklid section itself just above the mazda emblem...maybe it is on the spoiler too...

This is one difference between the sedan and hatch. On a sedan, if you get the spoiler, the brake light is on the spoiler (otherwise it's at the bottom of the rear window). On the hatch, the brake light is always on the hatch. Therefore, the spoiler's on the hatch and sedan are different (with different part #'s).

Sort of unfortunate actually. Although very minor, this is the only drawback to getting the hatch. I like the brake light in the spoiler much better.

the spoiler I got on ebay has the led...you can get one of those (Painted) cheaper than dealership and cover the stock 3rd brake light with paint matched with touch up bottle...just an idea...
