4th Semi-Annual Florida Statewide Meet (July 2006)

As one of the organizers and judges at the Melborne Meet, the next location should have the following things happen:
1)We should all be able to park together in one big area.
2) We will need to park based on classes, so we can look at all the MSPs. Miatas, Protege5s, etc, in one central location.
3)We also should have the signup list be split by car type, and the number you sign up for, is the number assigned at the meet. Preregistration will cut back on a lot of people needing to sign up at the meet.
4) A set cut-off time to register at the meet, so we can get judging done early and have time to relax, and hang out with everyone.
I am sure I will think of things to improve on, but I think the melbourne meet was by fast the best meet I ever had the honor of attending!

tampa and orlando are about the same distance to me so either is kool. ive never been to orlando would be kool to stop in there

It is unfair to ask the rest of Florida to drive to the very bottom of the state. That would be the same as asking all of us down here to drive to Pensecola. There is no reason for it. We went over this last time. We need to pick a location that is no more than half the distance from the most northern to the most southern, excluding the keys and panhandle. That way, although it's true that some will only have to drive a half an hour, no one will have to drive more than three and a half hours. Remember, this is a democratic function... THE GOOD OF THE MANY OUTWAY THE GOOD OF THE ONE, which is why I had no right to change the Melbourne Meet's Date, just because I couldn't make it.

and btw...you coulv'e tried to change the date....technically the date was chooses coz noone would agreee on na date....so someone said 21st and it became 21st
