Agreed...The baseball bat trick works even better....but to do it right there is a tool tha bolts to your hub and rolls the fender evenly. Dont be ghetto and use vise grips. It could lead to a mess..and the dremel is pretty much a no no unless you want to create a point for rust to start forming.

Here is a link to what a roller looks like

friend of mine used a roller and it bent his fender outward... there are negative points in doing it every way... he just asked how he could self roll them and i told him... i've done 2 friends cars like that, one i didn't even use anything soft, just a small piece of wood. and they boy cane out fab. lol but i still take no responsibility for anyone who messes up their car!

of course the Motegi dp10's fit.... they are +42 offset, but a 7" wide wheel

I dont know how many times I can say this on one forum. wheel width affects placement of the wheel just as much as the offset does.

exactly 42 is as far as your going with a 7" once you go 7.5 or 8 you will need more

and sickspeed why do you want to go 40? I cant see how 2mm on each side is going to make any difference in anything whatsoever

most of us know that and just don't specify because the vast majority of the forum members are running a 7 inch wide wheel, especially in 17". to find my wheels i used offset calculators and plus sizing calculators found on google to get a surefire flush fit and it definately worked
