Well done! It's great to see another Speed doing well...

Here is my best run (not fastest, though: the tires were going off by this point.) from last weekend in Gainesville. The course was the same as the $2004 Challenge. Fairly simple course, but there was some speed there if you could read into the course... This run was about .2 sec off my best run, but the lines were better, so I'm posting this one.

Interesting note: on one of my runs Jesse Naughton rode with me. He was amazed by the ability of the MSP to slalom. More than anything else, he couldn't believe how much speed I was able to carry thru the slalom. Take that for what it's worth, but he drives VERY well in any car he gets into...

Way to go Duncans! Always nice to Mazdaspeeds at the top of D stock. Are those SSR GT1 Integral wheels? What rubber are you running?

Yep, stock Racing Harts from a MP3. Not enough money to afford aftermarket wheels with the legal offsets. Tires are Kumho Victoracer V700's, 225/45/17.

My 1st autox event was 4/4 in the KYR region, same as james and cindy. I'm in street mod, on stock rubber, trying to learn how.. so i had 3 DNF's a 39.8 and a 37.0.
Need more seat time, and autox studying before i do better, not to mention race rubber, but i think i'll learn a little more before i go out and buy Kuhmos.

My codriver, started in the 37's, and finished with a 35.55, hes been autoxing for a little longer than i have, and is pretty certain the car has 33's in it with good rubber/driver.

Cant wait for the may 2 event to try it again, and try to get down in the 35s.

Car definitely had 33's in it with race tires as Cindy ran a 33.968 at that event. Patience and seat time will get you there.
