i have an 02 p5 and the tranny would grind going into 3rd gear so i pulled it apart to replace blocker rings and syncro but the 3rd gear was all chewed up and i have to pull the gears. the manual says to pull the bearing and 4th out and then 3rd and the syncro but the gap between 4th and the syncro is too small for a puller has anyone done this before that can give me some tips?
