Recently I have been researching carbon fiber wrapping, as in wraping real carbon fiber over the part desired just to give it that look. The process involves prepping the surface, mixing up some epoxy and laying down the fiber... I am pretty sure it wouldn't be a problem for me as I have experience with fiberglass and I know it's not the same but it's similar.
I stumbled upon this 3m carbon fiber wrap... Basically it's like a vinyl sheet that sticks to the surface and can be further worked in with heat. Real carbon fiber is expensive, and so is this... but this would be all I need, no extra supplies (paint brushes, mixing bowls, epoxy, hardener, etc)
I am probably looking to do my glove box and a few more interior pieces, I would also like to do the small black lip piece on the front of my MP3. If anyone has experience with this please share, if not I guess i'll be the first.
