Where's it listed for sale? I googled Grainger Honda. It's in Savannah GA. Why would you specify USD when you are in the USA?

SCAM

My friend found it on craigslist of Seattle and he is asking me for opinion.
I do agree it is fishy cause the listing is removed this morning.

fake scam

definately fake, i found another one on cardomain that had something similar with an rx8.

a lot of these scams are also done from outside the US. you would most likely send your money to a US address where a middle man will forward it outside the US.

there is also a scam offerring to buy your things also. they will pretend to be interested in buying something that is worth 500 bucks and send you a check worth $5000. they want you to then send them a check back for $4500-shipping costs of the object. then when the check bounces a week later, they are in nigeria with your object and $4500 and you are out of your object and $5000. one of the many scams out there online.

The funny thing is they upgraded the scams I think. lol.
The e-mail that my friend received from that guy didn't ask for money this time (but some part of the e-mail is still identical to the scam being reported). He asked for my friend's name and address so that he can "send" the car to him for a 5 day test drive. And "supportingly", a lawyer of some sort will be there as well to represent him and handle all the paper works.

I was joking with my friend saying maybe he should give him a fake name and give him his work place address and see if the Mazda3 really will show up or not.

There are still a lot of cars "floating" around with water damage as well. Be carefull of things that sound to good to be true.

Of course my friend is not going to "buy" that "car" anymore after we dig up all these info on the web. We are just being naughty here and want to play on with the scammer.

tell him to drive and meet you in a public place with the car, but dont show up lol...call him from pay phones and s*** tho

It's a 2005, One-owner out of Savannah and recently changed to Pooler, GA.

THere are no outstanding recalls on this car as of today...

Thanks Carfax.

Dude.. it's like that guy with the white van with candy and puppies in the back...TOTALLY legit.
