Is a US version of the Skyline coming out? I lived in Japan for 3 yrs and I almost brought one back with me. That might be the only car I would trade in my MSP for.

The new Infinity G35 is badged as a SKYLINE in japan right now. It doesn't have twin turbo on the model coming to the US. But its the same exact car as the new R35 skylines. AWD etc...

true...9 times out of 10, and probably what jurgs01 was referring to, when smeone says skyline they are referring to the GTRs. That's a GTS i believe.

It's not that bad, they just forgot to put a real interior in it. I've rented cars with better interiors.

I've been in a srt4 and i own a msp. Honestly the the msp interior quality isn't a huge difference then the srt4. Both are decent for econoboxes. The guy in the srt4 that smoked you could probably care less about the interior much either. I"ve seen a srt4 on a autox with just springs/shox/sways that pretty much dominated the autox so cna't really say they suck in the corners either.

(2thumbs) And there were some really cool ones out at Tokyo Raceway. I saw one that had 20,000,000 yen in engine modifications (about 170K dollars).

wtF? how is it even possible to spend that much on the engine unless you count in 100s of hours on the dyno and an ASSLOAD of labor...or you just get a pure titanium engine(boom07)

(werd)If Im spending 20K or less on a car, especially a performance car, I could give two s**** about the interior. Its close enough to a mazda interior anyways....

Tokyo money. There are a lot of rich businessmen their with nothing else to spend their money on. I know they were getting like 600 HP + out of some of those engines so I imagine there was money put into the drivetrain and suspension. These are not people like you and me, they actually almost do have bottomless pocketbooks.
