300ZX,3000GT,Stealth,Supra,RX-7

Out of all the 5 rides as them being Twin Turbo's which one in your own opinion you think is the fastest. My Guess is the lightweight rotarty twin-turbo RX-7 and the Supra. it's kinda close between them two. But reason being is B/C both of my friends own both cars and they both don't know each other but they'll meet when i call a group meeting and i'll make them race for the heck of it.

I'd say in straight line, the Supra might win out...The Rex-7 I'd like to see win, but I don't know if its got the juice for the straight line...

The Rex is made for twisties, where I think it would do better than the heavier Supra.

The again, I might just be talking out of my ass and so my opinion might not be completely right. Nor based on any fact what so ever.

Well, the Stealth and 3000GT should be considered the same vehicle as they essentially are. But I think the legendary Supra should take the lot although it is one heavy bugger. 3500+lbs

yeah agree with stutterc i do...the supra will win in a straight line...but the 7 will win on the track...it's lighter and has much better handling in my opinion (driven them both)...it all depends on what you call fast...fast in a straight line or on the track...

The RX-7 has notoriously been called a "rex-7" a lot longer than the CRX...And I've only seen the CRX be called C-Rex once, and that was in GRM for the project they had a few years back.

And I liked the title for that article, becuase of the idea behind the title. Which I'd be more than happy to explain, becuase I was the one who gave it to them...

All in all, calling cars by nick-names is just plain fun.

in europe and japan the subaru wrx has always been nicknamed or called a "rex" ever since it came out...since if you phonically say WRX...it's "rex...that's all...

0-60 the Supra and RX-7 are probably about the same, but on the top end, the RX-7 would probably pull away. See here in the US Toyota, in their infinate wisdom, speed limited the Supras to 155. While that's plenty fast, it doesn't really make sense to me. I'm sure there's a way around the speed limiter though.

I'd probably go with the RX-7 myself just because I like the way it looks, bad thing is that the rotory engine doesn't have the best track record for reliability.

Stock...my instinct would say Supra and the RX-7 are faster...you can pull up published 0-60, 1/4 mile and top speed times but many factors are involved...

Now modded...your talking a whole other story...although I heard the 300zx and 3000gt don't perform as well as the supra and rx-7 when modded...or is that because the 300zx and 3000gt guys havent pushed their car that far...anyone know of a 9 second full interior 300zx or 3000gt? Weight being a big issue

I like the 300zx...is the motor as strong as the supras?

I don't think the motor's are as strong as the supra's and RX-7's but i know a guy mike with a 300ZX TT with intake chip, and turbo exhaust and he gave the new 2003 tiburon a 7car head start in the 1/4mile and still beat it by half car lengh to 1car lengh. Just imagine our Mp3's racing a Supra or RX-7 and them giving us a 7car head start and getting somked still by at least a car lengh to 2 car lenghs. But i agree with hondasarge i think the Supra and RX-7 are the same from 0-60, 1/4mile but on Topspeed i think the RX-7 would take it cause i know they can go 167mph. But the supra's only go like 155-158mph.
