3'' exhaust and smic....opinion

All I can say is get 3 inch turboback and a smic (nailbyt) all at once and you have a different car.....f-ing amazing....it performs like it should have rolling out of the lot....Felt like a WRX when downshifting to 2nd. Took the car out and smoked one acura type r (h/e/i) and a 5.0 (h/e/i) tonight. I ran the integra in the past before, his look was priceless after he realized the vtec meant nothing. also, earlier today i ran my buddies cobalt ss and mid third i pulled....compared to the first time stock where he stayed with me till 4th and pulled away.....I cant imagine making this car any faster...maybe a little, but otherwise it defeats the purpose of its handling....I love my car, keeping it forever....till the day i blow my motor (thumb) I will post better pics later after my front bumper is fixed....thanks to you guys on the forum for selling me your parts and gettings them to me on time! I LOVE THIS ******* FORUM!!!!(first)

no not yet, i was told they make no difference unless you want a bov......I didnt buy them also because if i dont buy a bike this summer all of the money is going into the motor....going to forge, rebuild turbo, management, and thus the reason to upgrade to a fmic....i plan to spend around 7 grand on a used bike, hopefully a busa.....so hopefully that would be enough to cover the motor and parts/labor.....and the motor mounts i am hesitant of due to the rough idle with ac on......
 
i notice a big differance when i put my mounts on get the softest setting form street a lil vibration but its no biggie
 
did u get an "s" pipe then? cuz perrin is only downpipe back I believe, like my vibrant exhaust system..but yeah POST SOME PICS (sorry i'm anxious)
 
good advice...OK i'll do it ! btw love my car again now that it's 32F and roads are dry.
 
atleast just get a front motor mount. the car feels 100 times better without the wheel hop. the vibration is not that bad at all.
 
SWEET. I liked wacking Type-Rs too, they cant believe it. with a front motor mount and DSM AFC you will be laughing even harder. Are you flashed?
 
sorry it took me so long to repsond...I have been out of town....I have not been flashed yet and it is at stock boost although the stock boost raises due to the pressure change with the smic.....Just to announce it early, i plan on selling my smic this next week....I am going to get a FMIC because I am looking for larger numbers later down the road. I am going to forge the motor and rebuild the transmisison possibly by the end of this year if not buy a new car before i head to cullinary art school....The amount i would pay for a new car would be similar to that of the build so i am hesitant w/ my decision. Anyway, dont let the smic fool you though, for someone who wants a reliable car and doesnt plan to boost over 10 this is by far a "must have" modification w/ combination of exhaust....Anyway, school tuition is also about to come around so i need a little more money to cover the amount i spent on the exhaust and all these toys....If you are interested pm me...i am letting it go for the amount i bought it plus shipping....i will take pics and post in the FS section, but if you pm me you have first dibs until i see money, peace.....$340 Literally brand new...
