2nd guessing--problems fixed in 05?

Would it affect the clutch in any way by causing slightly extra wear? Or does the rev only take place once the clutch is in?

Also, we decided on getting a Mazda today, and since we can't get Winning Blue we're getting Velocity Red. My second choice but since you can't get the Blue in Canada it'll do, plus it looks kick-arse too!

4K miles. NO problems but the glove box rattle from time to time and an occasional squeak from the passenger side door. Not to mention the TSB for the sqeaky brakes in the cold. All of which I'm not to concerned about.

05 Mazda3 s 4door Titanium :D

Very good news, thanks! We have to wait till they get one in at the dealer, hope that means we get one that hasn't been driven much yet. My friend's 2.3GT had like 4 clicks when he got it. He's the reason I thought of Mazda3 for our potential car. Apparently the dealership will give you 100 bucks if you refer a customer to them, so I'm gonna tomorrow. He owes me a beer :D

Re: ballboy's post above ... Were you talking about the throttle jumping up a tad as you shift? Thanks!

Yes, exactly that. My car still does it but I'm not bothered by it at all. I believe that most concerned have grounded their throttle body's to compensate.
