can you take some more pics like from a bit farhter away and not so close to the gaps.

tHanks

Do to the fact that my car is black you can see the gaps much better form close up. Plus I gave the digi back to my friend already.

can you photoshop the pics to a better colour balance where you can actually see the gap? thanks.

I dont have photoshop sorry.

I'm ticked off at myself more than anything for getting too excited and getting the pieces painted before I fit them properly. grrrr

So you didnt even trim it at all before painting? How did you even get it to fit then? We couldnt even get the vents in it to go under the bumper. The metal wires (to hold mesh i recon) cut the s*** out of my bumper trying to fit it. At least yours went on....even though it didnt fit tight.

fitment doesn't look bad i guess.. maybe lay a couple of layers of fiberglass and add some resin hardener to fill up the gaps? just a thought.. ?? but like what someone stated earlier.. at least yours went on. i hope mine will as well.

Gratefully Dead here's some resized and brightness/contrast adjusted versions of your picts.

in pic 3 are you sure you have the bottom all the way on the pegs(3) that stick up right there, doesnt look like it is sitting right, and if it is that is a huge gap. 3/4" is not something you just layer more fiberglass on nor should you have to.

you need to dremmel the holes out on the grille, doesnt even look like you did that.

Actually I did dremmel the holes out to 1.5X the size of the pegs they are supposed to go around. So its not the holes thats the problem at all, the damn thing is just way out of whack

Ya well you guys can get a refund. I'm kinda s*** outta luck now that I spent $100 to get it painted. If I refund it i have to send it back and I'm still out $100. I guess I'm just stuck with a shotty product unless Jamie is feeling super nice when he gets back on monday.

I've definatly learned my lesson. Cut and fit first, paint second.
